This website (pneumarisband.com) is operated by Pneumaris. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines what information, if any, is collected when you visit this site and how it is used.

Information We Collect

If you use the contact form, we collect the information you submit: name, email address, subject, and message content. This information is used only to review and respond to your inquiry.

We also use a hidden anti-spam field and CAPTCHA verification to help prevent automated abuse of the form. When you submit the form, your browser sends the form fields, anti-spam field, and CAPTCHA verification token directly to Web3Forms for processing and delivery to Pneumaris.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (via Google's global site tag, gtag.js) to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site, but only if you say yes. When no saved choice is available, a banner asks whether to allow this; gtag.js is not loaded and no Google Analytics cookie is set until you click Accept. If you click Decline, or leave the banner unanswered, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics data is sent to Google Analytics. If you previously accepted, your saved choice allows Google Analytics to load on later visits. When enabled, Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, and approximate geographic location.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Choices" button in the site footer, which reopens the banner. Accepting allows Google Analytics cookies (including _ga and_ga_*) to be set. Declining after previously accepting removes the analytics cookies the site can access and reloads the page without Google Analytics. This does not delete data already sent to Google. The banner controls Google Analytics only. Google Fonts, Cloudflare's performance beacon, SoundCloud artwork, and hCaptcha load independently as you visit the relevant pages or content. Their providers can receive requests even if you decline Google Analytics or leave the banner unanswered. SoundCloud playback loads separately when you press Play.

This site uses or links to third-party platforms that may collect data independently under their own privacy policies:

  • Cloudflare: this site is hosted and served through Cloudflare, which processes visitor IP addresses to provide security (e.g. DDoS protection) and content delivery, and separately runs a cookie-free analytics beacon to measure page performance. See theCloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics: used to measure site traffic and visitor behavior. See theGoogle Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts: used to load typefaces. Font requests give Google your IP address and request details, independently of the analytics choice. See theGoogle Privacy Policy.
  • Web3Forms: used to process contact form submissions and deliver them to Pneumaris. See theWeb3Forms Privacy Policy.
  • hCaptcha: used to protect the contact form from spam and abuse. hCaptcha may process technical and behavioral data to perform bot detection. See thehCaptcha Privacy Policy.
  • SoundCloud: hosts track artwork and some album cover images on the Music page. Your browser requests these images as they load, and larger images when you open an artwork preview. SoundCloud's image service receives your IP address and request details independently of analytics consent. When you press Play, the site loads SoundCloud's player and player-control script to stream the track within this page. SoundCloud may then set cookies and collect playback and usage data, independently of your Google Analytics choice. Track and streaming links also let you visit SoundCloud directly.   • Spotify: we link to our Spotify albums and artist profile. Spotify may collect data if you visit their platform. See theSpotify Privacy Policy.
  • Apple Music: we link to our Apple Music albums and artist profile. Apple may collect data if you visit their platform. See theApple Privacy Policy.

Cookies and Local Storage

If you accept the analytics banner, this website sets cookies viaGoogle Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish users and measure site usage. Cookie lifetimes depend on Analytics settings and your browser's storage restrictions. Third-party services such as hCaptcha, and SoundCloud when you use playback, may also set their own cookies subject to their respective policies.

Both accepting and declining save your analytics preference in your browser's local storage, rather than in a cookie. Declining saves the preference without loading Google Analytics. The site sets no automatic expiry for this preference; it remains until you change it or the stored data is cleared. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice applies to the current page but may not be remembered on your next visit.

Background Motion

The character in the homepage artwork responds to your mouse. On supported phones, you can choose to enable tilt, which may ask for access to device orientation. These readings are used only in your browser to move the artwork; they are not stored or sent anywhere. You can disable tilt or pause mouse motion using the control over the artwork. The effect stays off when your device requests reduced motion.
